Lightning Protection, Design, Installation Testing and Maintenance Services

You never know when lightning might strike. If you own or manage a commercial building – like an office, factory, or place of worship – that has a lightning protection system (LPS) installed, you’re legally obliged (under section 5 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989) to have it tested annually.

If you have a Lightning Protection system installed, you’ll want to be sure it’s working correctly and doing all it can to protect the structure and its Occupants.

Our Lightning Protection service includes but is not limited to a visual survey of the Lightning conductor system, and all its component parts followed by electrical resistance testing of the isolated earth locations and the conductor’s continuity and resistance to earth. Using the information gathered on-site we are able compile a detailed report of all relevant findings. This includes photographic evidence and costing for any maintenance or remedial work that may be necessary. Upon completion of a satisfactory inspection a certificate of compliance will be issued.
